GEM 7: The Lost Race
Sunday, April 8, 2012 @ 1:09 AM
GEM 7: The Lost Race. The lost of human race to be exact. With technology advancing like the speed of light who knows what would really happen. Will androids really be all around? Whatever the future may bring, the human race won't be lost as long as we stay true to what we are and what makes us humans; emotions and feelings (i guess). This year's Gem had even lesser time than previous years, though our dance wasn't top notch and could have been way better, really happy TPDE still put on a pretty good show! My last Gem as a TP student, future Gem would be alumni already. Although the experience wasn't as awesome as previous years and many people i'm close to didn't participate in it, i still manage to enjoy myself somewhat and talk to people i never thought i would even speak to. I got to know more about a lot of juniors and those that were my hi-bye friends. Sometimes, the people who are in your clique or you thought you're close with may not always be there, but if you open up to others i guess you'll discover more about other people that you never thought you'll click with. Surprisingly, i did 4 items- popping, opening item, Anan's item and house-, first time TPDE had a house item and i'm part of it, really happy that Ivan manage to push through this house item. It's the item i enjoyed most this year, though we're damn messy and stuff but it was really great fun. My other item are technically or visually amazing, though i preferred my Gem 6 popping item people and An an's item people(also the extremely crazy fun choreo), i still enjoyed myself in all my items this year(: Lastly, Thank you Ryan, Anan, TPDE and the audience for everything in Gem 7 and for some Gem 5 & 6 too. Photos are more memories sake, below are some, the rest are in Facebook. Much love to everyone.

It's been months since I blogged, everytime I blog I come with a heavy heart. Can't remember the last time my heart felt good about something. As I grow older, you start to know things and I realize the world isn't as simple as I thought. It's full of deceit, selfishness, competition and many other ugly side of the human race. Why can't the world be more simple? People try to bring down criminals, but think about why they are criminals and what circumstances coul have forced them to be who they are. Ask yourself if you were in their situation, wouldn't you do the same. I try looking from other's point of view, but why can't they do the same for me. I'm alway being too nice, but I have my limits too. People take advantage of me being nice all the time. I don't say anything doesn't mean I don't feel anything. Even friends, yes friends. If I feel like I'm having a war with you all the time, this isn't friendship. The environment and people are the one that help motivate you in whatever you do. And I guess dance was the wrong choice, all this while I feel like I'm struggling to fit in. But the dance scene works like this, if you're the best people will flock to you, If not you're just nothing. And I am nothing. I guess I'm tired of this all this while I couldn't see that track and my close friends was all I need. I guess Gem 7 might be my last. For now, I guess I'm still thinking hard about everything

Thank you to LRM, TP track and TPDE for making my time in TP so awesome. I'm gonna miss the times in tutorial, lectures, trainings and just doing random stuff. Recital and more

I've been too busy to blog. Kinda sad with life. There's too much too do but too little time. Everything is piling up and i don't know how to handle it. I just pretend everything is fine. Praying and hoping everything would be.

On the bright side, O School Recital 2011 was recently just over. #rd Recital this year, it's kinda different without people like Diana, but that's okay. I met new people, although i don't find the experience amazingly as good as last year but its alright. Big thanks to Wei jie and Ben for letting me in the item 3rd year running, always learnt a lot from you guys(: Thanks to Team Taiqi for tolerating my busy schedule, all of you are amazing poppers. Thanks to all my friends that came down to support, even saw some unexpected people. Lazy to post so many photos. So just few below(:

Next up: Projects, Tests and hell lot more.

Month of October! Link(Elite Force Crew) came to Singapore for Money In The Cap 2, it was really great to see him and to take his class. Learnt a lot more about hip hop.
Had my last Pol-ITE reppin' TP, injured my leg so didnt do as well as i wanted individually. But, as a team, i think TP Sprints did pretty good. The girls won 4x100m and 4x400m again. As usual, 4x400m was hell tiring. It was also great seeing all the SSP people(:

So here are some photos!

Link!
Love the SSP girls(:

School started already! Hectic hectic last semester. Second week of school and I'm going crazy. Two reports and one test in two weeks. To add on, I've got recital performances and practices, not to forget track training. But I'm not giving up yet(thank you Marcus for the encouragement, you probably won't read this)
